Filipina Ladies- Are They Looking For Marriage?

These Filipina ladies who are looking for marriage received so many negative criticisms from people all over the world. There are those who are boldly indifferent from these ladies not only from Philippines but also from different countries who also look for marriage through online dating sites.

What is wrong with this aspiration in marrying foreign men especially those who are Caucasians? Some people think that these ladies are only after of the money, the visa, and the opportunity to live life comfortably. But that is not hundred percent true. There are maybe some who have that motive but not everyone especially the Filipino women.

What is the motive of a Filipina lady in searching for a husband through the online dating sites, mail-order bride services, and other avenues that gives her the big possibility to meet a foreigner man? You can only speculate her inner motive. However, there are common factors or influences that push her to pursue her desire to marry a man from other countries.

One of these factors is the family influence. Interracial marriage does not only happen today. In the Philippines, it already began in the colonial period. When the Spaniards, Japanese, Americans, Hindus and other foreign people came to explore the Philippines, some of these people had relations with Filipino women. Thus, this past experience has shaped the minds of the Filipino people with regards to marrying a foreigner.

Some family members who are married to foreign guy, or even simply living abroad can be the factor that cause these women find their partners outside the country. Their family who is living overseas becomes their matchmaker.

There are other women who are also influenced by Media. What they see in the movies inspire to also find their lifetime partner overseas. Some Filipina ladies who are looking for marriage simply prefer men living abroad.

Question to Married African American Women…..?

Studies show that White/Hispanic women marry & remarry much more reliably than Black women. I am a 37 Black woman & there are days when I get really sad that I’m not married yet. I have been told that I am a very attractive woman – I try to keep myself looking nice. I have dated SO many men it makes my head spin – none of them, of course, have ended in married. I don’t want to live with a man for years before I marry him like Beyonce or just live with him forever like Oprah either. I don’t really want to have a steady flow of “friends w/ benefits” anymore either. Hell, the last time I was even close to getting married was about 10 yrs ago – LOL. hahhahaa!!!
My ? is probably an appeal for encouragement – but did it take ANYONE else out there a long time to finally get married? AND are you really ….really happier in life now that you did? I know that marriage doesn’t solve everything, I know you have to be happy w/ yourself 1st. Thx but no need to remind me & yes, my life is full.

Ok here i go..lol.. I’m NOT black, im a hispanic female married to a black man, but I’m real..lol..and i think thats what u need a person with a real view on life. No story book line to why patience is the key..lol. Hispanic and White woman seem to settle alot easier. Their requirements arent always high up on the ladder. It’s sad but its so true. Alot of times Men tend to be kind of insecure when it comes to successful black women. Alot of men also consider black woman to be more dominate and they arent always prepared to handle that. From personal experience be lucky you’ve never been divorced! Dont lower your standards find someone who is willing to step their game up for you. Good Luck!!
