International Dating Questions:

Is it immoral to excuse Islam on “cultural grounds” for life-threatening abuse of women and girls?

In most Islamic countries (Turkey, Indonesian notable exceptions) no access to education, circumcision (in some countries in Africa and Middle east), no access to birth control, stoned to death for being raped, not illegal for a father to kill female children, child (pre-teen) marriage common, domestic violence against women not illegal, forced abortions of female foetuses, to name the obvious ones.

Is saying these practices are “cultural”, any reason to excuse them?

yes, but the left tend to be so crazy in love with kissing Islam’s ass to show how ‘open minded’ they are that they’re stuck pretending such things don’t happen. That’s why when you bring it up, they defend with ‘well, America does such and such’ b/c even the liberals can’t usually bring themselves to say that stoning a rape victim to death is ok. (but the whole ‘it’s their culture’ thing is becoming their ‘moral dodge’, kind of like dismissing all criticism of Islam as ‘racist’. ). Anyway, this and a few other topics (guns for example) are the few things I really have against the left. They’ll wiggle and they’ll waggle but I’m basically on the left and I see what we do . Just b/c there’s a billion say…zombies, doesn’t mean that eating brains of living humans is ok. It just means that there’s a serious fucking problem and that pretending there’s not is only going to make it worse.
