Cap female talks marriage with me ,but is slow to set the record straight with previous suitor…why?

I,ve been dating a Capricorn female for a while now .I’m Aries and our relationship so far is magic. we even talk about marriage ,but I notice she is very slow to inform a former suitor that we are in a very serious relationship.She has had this opportunity to tell him and has not .While she isnt dating him ,because he lives in another state ,his mother seems determined to make her his wife.She seems to be dragging her feet in getting this door from the past closed .I’m starting to get impatient…what shoud I do ?

If you haven’t already, I would suggest letting her know you’re aware she hasn’t done this yet. Don’t accuse her of anything, and especially don’t bombard her with nagging questions. Maybe just bring up the fact that this ex’s mother seems pretty insistent, and ask her what she thinks about that.
Just because she’s being “slow” with this doesn’t necessarily mean she still wants to be with this guy. Maybe she thinks he’ll be really upset about it? Maybe she doesn’t want to cause too much drama with the mother? There’s definitely a reason, you just have to find a way to bring it out of her (in the least confrontational way as possible).
