Am I wrong for not dating a guy just because he is haitian?

I had a few haitian men in the past ( including son’s dad) and they were all horrible men to me. This like to have multiple women and have their main girl barefoot and pregant in the kitchen. He is a nice dude n we connect well its just that I cant get over his ethnicity. I am a Black American woman and I am looking for a decent man but is it wrong of me to write off a man because he is haitian
