for Citizenship…but got divorced before the interview for the Citizenship.
When she went for the Interview, the Immigration Dept. denied her citizenship saying , Her marriage was fraudulent.
i want to know, Why they said so..according to the woman, the marriage was real but did not work.
What should she do now ?

Proving that a marriage is legitimate for the purposes of marriage-based immigration, even if there has been no divorce, is the burden of the applicant. She can appeal, but she would need to provide more evidence than what she originally applied with. I don’t know what her original evidence was so I don’t know what sort of evidence she needs to show.
