Is there a way around an arranged marriage?

I’m currently dating an Afghanistan woman, but born and raised here in the US. I like everything about her and I’m falling in love with her, hard. The same goes for her and it just devastates her that her parents are making her get an arranged marriage for her. Now I’m half Puerto Rican/Filipino and they probably wouldn’t have accepted me anyway, but I want to make it work. Is there any possible way around her arranged marriage? Any advice for the slightest chance to make it work is appreciated, thank you.

The arranged marriage can’t be broken. It’s an old tradition, where parents choose a wive/husband for their kids before they become adult. But, sometimes neither of the married parties want the marriage, and if this is a case here, then you can maybe break a wedding. What I mean is, if the woman’s arranged husband don’t want to go into marriage with her, then, if he is strong enough, he can speak with his parents, and they can, maybe, break off the wedding. But, if it is an arranged marriage, then you are dealing with very tradition like parents, and since you are not an Afghanistan, the best thing for you would be to leave the woman and find yourself another one. That is the safest thing to do. The above advice, about talking with husband and parents, from my point of view have a chance of 10% to succeed. Love is not something worth to die for, because it’s come and go. So, be smart, and don’t risk your life for something that will disappear fast (love)! And if you don’t like the above two advices, then try the 3rd one. And the 3rd one is: steal her from marriage, go to Mexico, get marry with her there, find some lonely town, and hide forever from her yet-to-be husband. And live happily there (hardly possible). But as I said before, don’t risk your life.
